Meet the Designer

Francesca is a skilled costume designer and seamstress with over 10 years of experience. Her journey began with formal fashion studies and freelance work before she shifted her focus to costume design, merging her technical expertise with her passion for aerial arts. 

Since starting Lyra (Aerial Hoop) training in 2019, Francesca has built a strong reputation within the circus and aerial community. Her craftsmanship has been recognized by world-renowned companies, including The Australian Ballet, Cirque du Soleil, and Victorian Opera.

At Cirque Noir, every costume is designed with performance in mind ensuring aerialists have outfits that are as breathtaking as their routines.
